Seeing what happened at the Capital Gazette today made me immediately think that in a world where our president rallies against "Fake News", that could very well be the narrative here. Trump has mastered the turn his own worst flaws against his opponents and somehow his supporters are dumb enough to buy it. But that's just adject stupidity, when it's put into action it becomes lethal. I have no idea what the actual motives are but at the end of the day, the chances that the shooter had one of those stupid red hats has to be be somewhere around the 99.99% chance.
