Masks will need to be worn for at least another 5 months while riding some kind of public transportation as the requirement was extended earlier today. The issue I have isn't with the mask wearing requirements -I'd do that easily-but with the fact that now people who are vaccinated are told they can go maskless outdoors leaves a big issue. You see a group of 4 construction guys standing outside maskless, you'd have to think it twice before sharing a pina colada with those dudes

Vaccinations are starting to slow and we can't seem to figure out how to get them back on track because realistically the people who aren't clamoring for them are the people who think the entire thing is a hoax.
So companies are trying to do their best by offering free donuts or cream which does speak to peoples weak points. The issue is that the people who don't believe in vaccines won't be enticed by a free donut. We need to start exporting the unused vaccines to India yesterday because that is turning into a humanitarian crisis.

The biggest issue is that the same people not taking the vaccine are pissed that Trump didn't get credit for the. The same ones who bitch about losing our freedom won't do the minor things to get them back like wearing masks and getting vaccinated.

Take on outdoor Covid transmission

I've taken the Covid pandemic as seriously as anybody, I've kept a social distance having yet to step foot in anybody's house not owned by my own family. I wash my hands more often than any Dutch person ever would and I wear a mask..all the time

But honestly, the idea of wearing a mask outdoors has always seemed crazy to even me. Even from the beginning of the pandemic, I never believe that transmission over a wide space in open air would ever be a real risk. There wasn't any science to suggest it was transmitting that way but since there wasn't any science that proves it didn't transmit outdoors with social distancing measures, it seemed like a small price to pay to allow you to some normalcy.
But now that we know more, it's time we move on from this concept and start thinking about our future I see masks in public for a while especially in enclosed spaces, private and public buildings and schools. I don't think that wearing them on the side of a soccer field with everybody a mile apart is necessary

So, I'm glad there is now a basics 2 out of 3 chart.

He now says that gun legislation would be his first priority which we all know is bull. We are the only nation on earth where kids are told by their parents what to do if a shooter shows up. We are the only country who needs active shooter drills, we are the only country where school shootings aren't even national news for longer than a few days

For everything there is to love about the country, and there is a lot, the fact we can't get a consensus to do everything in our power to stop school shootings is the biggest travesty

Chinese officials are admitting that their vaccine isn't exactly effective. The fact the Chinese are admitting it, tells you the efficacy of it is likely well below the 52% they are claiming. But I have no national pride for this, we are in this together as a world and we need to find a way to get all 6 million of us vaccinated so we can go back to hating each other.

Take on the new Covid studies leading to higher risk of brain or mental health disorder

As if this pandemic didn't suck enough, there is a new study that suggests that 20% of people who had Covid have some kind of mental or neurological issue three months later. Obviously that's the last thing we would need right now, people who suffer through the virus also getting psychological effects months later seems crazy add to that the strain of lockdowns and quarantines and having your kids home all the time and we are all about to jump off a bridge.

I think it's time to try something else, maybe we need to start injecting ourselves with bleach.

Matt Gaetz knew he was in deep trouble and he tried to obtain a get out of jail card from the only person more moral-less and loathsome than himself. The problem is that Trump had no use for him at that point and he wasn't going to give out a pardon out of the goodness of his heart. Trump is transactional but only forward transactional, he doesn't reward for previous defense, he's only interested in the future

The one most people have pointed out is the bottle of Coke behind the telephone after he called for a boycott of the product for his loyalists. Our eye went to the weird bronze statue of himself behind Miller and the photo of himself on his little table. There is also the stack of blank papers which is off and the fact everything a "billionaire" can't figure out what to do with random wires under those little tables. The desk seems like a cheap replica of the Resolute Desk and that weird diamond shaped award was likely given out by the Donald J Trump foundation

TaKe on the scolding coffee cup

I walked into a coffer shop n Chelsea yesterday and order a large black coffee because I like my coffee to taste like coffee. The issue is that all these place serve their coffee scolding hot. It would be one thing if a deli did this but this place literally only sells coffee and they can't figure out how to serve it at a drinkable temperature

I walk over to the little table and thought to myself, what they need to offer instead of cream or milk is some iced coffee to dilute the hot burning coffee with something at room temperature or colder so that we can down the 500 degree coffee without making it taste like dessert
