Some orca that has been held at a Florida theme park for the last 50 years is going to be released into the Pacific Ocean.

In related news, next week we will get a story about how an Orca who has spent its entire adult life being fed and nurtured dies when dropped into the middle of the ocean

We shouldn't be holding these animals in captivity but releasing them when they are at the end of their life to forge for their food supply, fight of predators, avoid random fishing nets and deal with that gigantic garbage barge seems like an even worse idea
