We aren't a century away from a species of robots who can do humans better than humans, we are a few years away. I'm excited about the AI future but mostly because it's new and exciting but when I start considering what it will mean and how it will stunt human creativity and drive, the more I get nervous. I can't claim to know anything about the technology and my fist run in with Chat GPT last month to try to come up with a round robin format of games of two groups with eight teams each playing eight events concurrently where the technology couldn't do anything better than I could But I know this is just a stepping stone and in a year it will come up with the entire thing and then some.
