Devin Nunes has been Trump's congressional lapdog for the last few years but with Trump unlikely to be facing any impeachment trials, Devin decided to get a little closer to a Trump's taint. He is stepping down from his seat in Congress and taking up a role within Trump's media company which sounds about as exciting as sitting in a hot tub with a fat guy with a flatulence problem.
I guess it was probably because he saw that the writing was on the wall and the chances of him retaining his seat after redistricting was going to be very difficult. Either that or he was just too intimidated by that cow
