take on the Robert E Lee defense

Trump went all in on Robert E. Lee which sort of describes his position on January 6th. We know that he's smart enough to recognize his base is a bunch of ardent southern heritage believers and defending Lee is like telling a Cowboy fan that Dak is going to throw for 5000 yards.
