Dan Quayle may have saved the republic. I wasn't quite expecting that scenario but spineless Mike Pence was so busy trying to relate his old boss that he was desperately trying to find some rationale for not verifying the election. He called Quayle who shut him down on the idea faster than you can spell potato. This is what it's come down to, Trump's yes men tried every Avenue to overturn the election and we watched it.
