The George Santos story get weirder by the day, even when it's about something as a family member covering his bond. It's not totally unusual l for somebody to step in but when the bond is $500,000 and you are asking blue collar people to come up with it virtually overnight, it seems a bit sketchy. Then again, Sketchy and Santos are basically synonyms at this point.
