The new hot take is that the diversity in the Lord of the Rings series is the kind of wokeness that will destroy America as we know it. I haven't watched this new series as the last time I sat through on of those LOTR things coincided with a great three hour nap but gotta say this new hot take that CNN seems to be pushing that nobody can be anything other than white doesn't sit quiet well especially as this is a goddamned fantasy about elves and dragons and magic.
