We know that yuu can't possibly outrun it as it can take control of just about every part of a state's livelihood. In our state although the cases have virtually dwindled to nothing, I'm afraid that the second surge Is around the corner as we all get complacent when we have no leadership

Trump's defense of bountygate was that he either didn't get it or it was fake. Any scenario looks terrible for him
If he never got it, it would show gross incompetence by his administration
If he did get it and didn't do anything about it, it would show gross incompetence by him

So the latest leak, which I believe this report is, is that it was presented to him which takes scenario 1 off the hook but it was presented in a written briefing which everybody knows means Trump wouldn't have read it which take Trump off the hook.

I can't believe their best defense is that Trump is too lazy to care.

It was only a matter of time before it was revealed just how deeply indebted Trump is to daddy Putin that should scare us to a electoral trouncing.

Today Trump tried to deflect blame by saying he wasn't briefed on the bountygate claiming it was false which is exactly what you'd expect him to say. He spent the day attacking The NY Times while saying nothing about Daddy Putin. Nobody can possibly believe that he has America's best interests at heart when he proves over and over again that he's in this thing for himself and only himself.

The New Orleans Saints were practically thrown out of the NFL for their Bountygate situation but Vlad Putin gets an invite to the White House. Four months ago Trump told us that the 15 people with Covid and what number would just disappear, nobody could have projected what the last four months would have looked like but everybody with half a brain knew it would look nothing like what he claimed

Trump went on Hannity today and the entire thing is taped in front of an audience who are sitting six feet apart and wearing masks. The only two people not wearing mask are Trump and Hannity. It's facilitating to see the president of the free world refuse to do what his citizens are asked to do every day.

But what is better is this scene of Trump ripping on John Bolton and when they go to the wide angle shot it looks like Trump grew a second ass. I can't describe it but his ass is so large now that it looks like he's hiding a purse on his chair like some ladies do when they go to eat but in his case it's more likely to be a sack on murder burgers.
He's just getting fatter every time you see him.

The tides have certainly turned over the last few months, hotspots like New York and New Jersey have seen infection rates plummet while places like Florida have seen this once gleaming state numbers plummet. This is the point where a Florida gets one of its own medicine with a threat from the northeast governors that People traveling from Florida would need to quarantine for 14 days.
The sad thing is that our president never lead on the thing leaving it the incompetent Mike Pence who flubbed this thing like he was a jelly donut on a slip and slide.

Trump's live comedy show was on display again today with him going back to age old reliable acts including calling the cause of pandemic The Wuhan Virus, Kung Flu and then musing over why it's called Covid 19 and not Covid 20 or 18
As if it's not enough that he's a racist pig but the fact that he doesn't understand the 19 stands for the year it was discovered is beyond me. This is why Trump is so dangerous, he embraces stupidity and his followers are happy to be anti science and anti intellectual

Take on Phase 2

It was certainly a difficult three months but as NYC stepped into Phase2 of reopening, we are all trying to navigate what normal is. NYC's transmission rate is incredibly low, mostly because we know how easily this thing is to transmit and because most people here wear masks
We're not sure how long it will take but this city needs tourists, restaurants, Broadway and all the rest of it, so opening up is a total necessity. We just have to stay vigilant and not move so quickly that we throw all the hard work away

But we will likely screw it up as we have all started to bring our guard down but I just 10 deaths is amazing considering we were peaking at 800+

Sadly a lot of the country didn't heed the warnings and are likely in for some real distress

Trump came back from his underwhelming rally in Tulsa yesterday and looked fat, hungover and horny.  He walked off Marine One looking utterly deflated while looking completely inflated.   Rumor is it that he screamed at his aides as he saw the arena that Nickleback sells out in minutes, about 2/3 empty.   

The funny thing is the Tik-Tok and K-Pop thing actually plays in his favor, his campaign would be better off saying Antifa hacked them and kept Trump loyalists from coming out since the truth that the 6200 people who came out was literally the entire amount of people interested in getting mass covid

Take on Trump in Tulsa

The Tulsa rally turned out to be a dud mostly because the million people who were coming all forgot to come. It happens, sometimes you double book yourself for both a lunch at Chili's and a chance to see the president. It's a hard choice but you love the wings, so you pass up to see 45 and instead dig in to the wingers and order an extra large diet coke


The good news is that we were all afraid that there would be a gigantic spike in COVID cases stemming from this rally but since there was nobody there, we won't be worried

Trump threatened anarchists, agitators, looted and lowlifes if they dare come to his rally and state any kind of event with some kind of intimidating threat of force. What was odd was that he looped protesters in with that group of what was otherwise a pretty deplorable group.

We realize that Trump probably never took Civics but protesting is a fundamental right for all US citizens and is protected by the first amendment but somehow Trump finds them too annoying and difficult that he'd rather trample on their rights than allow they to chat "hell no we wont't go, Donald Trump walks really slow"

Matt Gaetz tried to get ahead of a Jerry Falwell jr situation and same to with a completely unbelievable story of adoption a 14 year old Cuban kid by a 27 year old thrice caught DWI drunk who has his own daddy issues. We figure it's only a matter of time when it's revealed that this relationship is less fatherly than a standard father son relationship and that this poor kid is just a political prop

But I guess good for old Matt, his son must be proud of his old man's staunch support of everything that sucks

Take on John Bolton’s book

John Bolton could have been an American hero but instead of testifying during the impeachment hearings, he waited for his his big payday which has come in the form of his tell all book. I've never liked Bolton, mainly because he's a war criminal but almost equally because of that Ned Flanders mustache.
He went after Trump pretty hard though which feels a little late but hopefully will stunt any momentum Trump has going into the elections. Obviously the concentration camps will ge the most press but the crux of this story is still to be told. It's the systematic desire of this administration to break the molds of what has come before almost all of it the detriment of our country and as an attack on basic humanity.
We know Trump will likely win again because with the full weight of the office behind him, there is likely nothing he won't do to retain power so we just need patriots to step out and defend this country against the tyranny we face.

Trump's latest defense against Covid is to stop testing because nobody can be positive if there is no test to show they are. We realize Donny was just trying to make the case that more testing will lead to finding more cases immediately but with everything going on he just sounds like a moron

If you don't test for pregnancy, teenage pregnancy numbers will be super low for about 9 months, then they won't be so low anymore

Anyway, keep testing, keep contact tracing, keep voting and donating to anybody who has a brain stands against Trump

Trump turned 74 today and it was rather conspicuous that Melania spent time to wish the US army forces a happy birthday but forgot to mention the birthday of the love of her life. We know she absolutely not into Trump physically and we can't imagine she has any real interest emotionally but when it comes to showing any public display of affection she freezes

Anyway, he is a year older and this means nothing because he's not any wiser.

Trump needed two hands to bring a glass of water to his mouth and could have used four feet to walk down a small ramp during his commencement speech at West Point. Of course nobody on the right thinks this is troubling even as they continue to question Hillary's health during the 2016 campaign. Biden isn't the sharpest tool in the shed but he's way ahead -physically and mentally- of where Trump has descended to.

Melania came to DC to join her husband only after she forced him to redo her pre-nup. We know that she has no interest in spending any quality time Donald and has often found ways to stay out of the spotlight for days on end but her first half a year was particulate striking. Rumors were flying all over that she was banging the snot out of a some store manager in Trump Tower who was making sure her needs were met. When she finally got to DC she made sure to get her own bedroom so as to never have to lie down next to captain crunch Now she's stuck back with Trump but the chances of it lasting past November are very unlikely

The Republican National Convention will move from North Carolina to the land of Lynyrd Skynyrd. We can't say we're surprised by it because, well, it works well with Trump's Demographic of non educated white men who love to hate on self idolizing, suit wearing, faux rich metropolitans.

Enter Kayleigh Ann who was the one at the podium to defend this and when pressed as to why the president would tweet this, she pivoted to the president merely "asking questions"6which is his way of letting his constituents realize that he's signaling his beliefs to his people

Trump is losing it and the decline seems to be speeding up. He accused the 75 year old guy who was shoved by Buffalo police and cracking open his head for being a Antifa provocateur. Not only is a this unsubstantiated but it's a dangerous precedent. Basically it justifies police brutality which would be awful from some random twitter user, heinous for a race baiter like @TuckerCarlson but is despicable for the commander in chief.

It was a matter of time but Trump's economy has officially hit recession. People will blame it on COVID but with I'm the 128 month economic boom ending in February it tells you that the economy was on some fragile footing. Obviously we shut the economy down but that didn't happened until mid March, so the fact we hit a recession the month before that, is telling.
So we are going to wait till we wake up but going to see anybody other than Trump up there Leading our country sounds like a total dream

Reports came out today that the White House was considering a Trump speech to the nation on race and unity which is absurd in every respect. He can tweet all he wants about having done more for African Americans than any other president but that doesn't make it remotely true
The people who support this narrative are the same ones who will tell you Obama was terrible for race relations which they justify only because they don't think the white man got enough of a say.
But this speech will be one of those cringeworthy Stephen Miller specials which will bot heal a broken country but likely will dig the knife in deeper

The most amazing thing about Trump is that he has single handedly rebuilt the reputation of W Bush. Maybe it's because W has stayed out of the spotlight, maybe it's purely a comparison to what awful really can be or maybe he's just kind of grown on us like that weird beard your coworker has been growing but when Bush came out to say he won't support Trump today I was proud of him. He was an awful president in many ways but he does have a heart and does want the best for this country, two things you could never say for Trump
So the list of anti Trump republicans keeps on growing and we just need to get through the next 150 days without the country imploding

The May job report came out and and it was shockingly less shitty than expected. Granted it's still like 8% higher than when Trump took office but it did come down off of last months highs. I always root for good job numbers, no matter which President so was hoot to see the economy maybe coming back. Sadly the Washington Post reporter that the job numbers were inflated and that the unemployment numbers are likely much higher And closer to 20% bases mainly on the fact that there seems to not really be an accurate category for furloughed.
Anyway, there are millions out of work and as the economy opens up we will likely find ourselves in a deep recession. So the chances of these job numbers really improving in the next few months is slim and as companies lay people off once their PPP money runs out, we will see the real effects of the economy.

Trump couldn't get his Mexican wall built so has no decided to barricade himself into the White House while the country burns. Trump has found himself in the bunker over the last few days and is apparently asking the army corpse of engineers to build him a moat filled with crocodiles as he believes that is what would keep the Mexicans out. Of course he's never had an issue employing them at his golf courses but this is different because he wants to sound tough while hiding deep inside the White House basement yelling insults.

The only question is who paid for this White House wall. .

Trump needed a photo-op to keep it the believe going that he's some kind of Christian. We've spoken often about the biggest joke of this administration is that they have convinced the religious right that somehow there is morality in the most amoral human that has walked this fine earth

Melania and Trump showed up at Church and looked like the kind of couple that were being forced to get married by her dad because he knocked her up. No joy, no love, no compassion nothing
Just two soulless beings standing in front of an alter that neither understands

But the bigger thing to me is she showed up sleeveless, just imagine if Michelle had shown up like that and the uproar it would have caused. The hypocrisy is huge with these religious nuts

Trump made an odd statement about Washington DC being the safest place yesterday which is an odd statement unless you are..Trump. Yeah, for him it was totally safe as protesters were teargassed right in front of him, so he could walk like some kind of tyrannical Moses with poor kids lying around him. When they got the NAVY SEALs protecting the Lincoln's memorial in full military garb, you can't possibly think this is going well.

Trump teargassed a peaceful protest so he can have one of his poorly enacted photo ops. Obviously he's a lame dude holding the most important position in the world but the idea that the religious right believe a thing out of this twice divorced, cursing grandstanding, amoral l, vile human is beyond me.
