Take on Trump’s hurricane problem

With Hurricane Dorian bearing down on the Florida coast, Trump sent Pence to Poland instead of making the trip himself. You'd guess he was concerned about the fast destruction it could cause greater Florida but with Mar-a-Lago directly in its sights, he might be looking long and hard at his nuclear option.
I'd hate to see massive destruction but if that storm could just slim down and decide to park itself right on top of a Trump property I wouldn't exactly complain. Then again, he'd get back some crazy amount of money as he'd make sure whomever is overseeing recovery would make sure Trump is whole first and by whole I'm guessing fatter than usual
