Some random dude suggested that the reason they are trying to make The White House look like Mar-a-Lago is because Trump is losing his marbles and when somebody is suffering from Alzheimer's the best thing is to give them something familiar. This is the best theory going and I'm all in because the entire thing looks like somebody broke one of those snow gloves with the gold glitter all over the Oval Office and nobody vacuum cleaner can get it out.
