When am I going to get sick of all the winning? Looking at gas prices right now, it feels like a cruel joke to Americans who were promised a quick and decisive win and are now getting pummeled every time they get close to the gas station. It's not just a hit, it's a gut punch when it cost us $4.50 a gallon on a 12 gallon fill up even as we are being told there is no inflation. If this is what winning looks like, please sign me up for losing

I order a porterhouse for two at Smith and Wollensky's and wasn't unhappy with the meat and getting gratis sides of vegetables is always a nice addition albeit at a $100 steak cost. The thing is that asparagus is great but when they put down the plate and you think you see a heaping pile of sweet potatoes to find out it's steamed carats when biting into it, it's more than a little disappointing. I'm not sure who likes steamed carrots other than a teething toddler.

China is so far ahead, we don't even see their taillights. I spent a week in China and saw their electric cars blow the Tesla out of the water, they are better equipped, look more luxurious and you can switch out the battery in 3 minutes. Now I see they are also ditching the stupid touch screens for real normal functional buttons which I think we all would love. Bring it back to my childhood please, normal buttons, $0.99 gas and rear wheel drive manuals.

Nobody can tell me with any certainly or confidence why we attacked Iran but the idea that it was just an Epstein distraction is one I've alway believed. There is no way that the world is better paced with Trump bombing the hell out of random places but he's learned that we as a country love a good Middle East war with no end.

There really is nothing worse than the morning commute into NYC. It almost doesn't matter what time you leave, you are always going to have that moment when you are sitting in standstill traffic and that second cup of coffee is turning your stomach sideways and the only hope you have is that the guy will let you off to relieve yourself in the middle of route 3.

John Fetterman is making me long for Joe Manchin which is a feat nobody expected. He's not a gigantic piece of crap but to appear on video alongside Trump to stump for a Republican is everything we the fear mongers always warned us about him but in this case it's true. I'd still rather have him representing Pennsylvania than a true Republican but the fact he now hold so much power, and will have even more if the democrats were to somehow get the senate back is making me ill.

Trump was photographed without his makeup and his hairdo the other day and he looked sort of normal. He's still a total ogre but the fact that he's not covered in male makeup is a positive and means that only his vile personality, complete ignorance and incompetency are national embarrassments.

The summer ending with these lusciously insane gas prices is absolutely killing me. I spent $75 to fill up my car just so I can get to work is not sustainable for most Americans and it's all self inflicted by a man who doesn't understand the consequences of his actions. There's a new study which tells you that alcohol is bad and another one that says that water is wet. What shocks me is not that alcohol is tied to cancer but they there are always these other studies which tells you that drinking wine leads to all sorts of other benefits. Nothing has been studied more than alcohol and we still know nothing definitive.

I haven't totally followed the Kawhi Leonard saga but the fact he got off with a slap on the wrist while the Clippers lose five first rounders and Steve Ballmer is suspended for a year, seems a bit off. In not advocating for less time or a lower penalty for the Clippers brass but a more stinging punishment for Kawhi seems obvious. We all know it takes two to tango and he was well aware of the underhanded shenanigans but somehow we have blinders on for these athletes

I'm all about making more green space but I don't totally get these seesaws in the middle of Broadway. It's fun and all but midtown Manhattan where it has to be 99% white collar guys who aren't ever going to get on these five hundred pound metal contraptions. Next time a bunch of benches would work a lot better
