I'm almost 100% certain that the Melania Trump memoir was written using AI. I've heard the woman speak and to call her anything but a total hack would be an understatement. We know why she is where she is not on any merit There was no chance she made it as an immigrant on some fast track because of her intellect. I also am not sure the idea of her speaking out about her nudes will help her husband's campaign but it certainly got us all to Google them again.

Puffy being caught with an AR15 isn't shocking. A bunch of ammunition isn't either. What I'm actually surprised about was that they haven't reported any drugs, prostitutes or stacks of unmarked bills but what really caught my attention was what he did have. I'm not sure why anybody needs 1000 bottles of baby oil and lubricant although I get people have all sorts of fetishes but this seems a bit excessive even for me. Only a few short years ago a bunch of big companies were falling over one another to convince themselves that the work from home model made people more productive. I have never believed this as I know most people will abuse anything good that they are ever offered. They are also inherently lazy and the thought that people would work more has always been laughable. So I'm not shocked most companies are calling their employees back but I am shocked it took them so long. One thing for sure this will do great things to revitalize city centers and help hundreds of thousands of small mom and pop places.

I can't even see how we get back to normalcy when there are literally assassins walking about Ma-a-Lago. Imagine your little town which went through a horrible tragedy is being used as a political paw by a party that you would almost certainly endorse. I've been playing the debate on an endless loop in my head. It was pretty obvious that after a bit of a struggle to get her footing in the very early parts of the debate, Kamala hits a groove and just kept needling Trump to the point he was losing all composure.

I am convinced it won't make much of a difference as the sycophants who blindly follow their Dear Leader have gotten so far down their rabbit holes that when they start trying to climb out they are just digging back deeper. We know this election will be close and the fact it will come down to Harris' campaign needing to pull a few more Philadelphia voters out than Trump convincing a few in rural western Pennsylvania ones is a scary prospect.

Although i look down upon it, I'm never insulted by pure ignorance when it comes to social or political commentary but I am when it comes to stupidity. I guess the two are often seen as being interwoven but i see ignorance as lack of knowledge which isn't excusable especially when you spent time prophesying on an issue but stupidity means that the position on an issue you are defending is in itself idiotic.

It's really time for these airlines to start adding that smaller USB port to their TV screens. I haven't bought a device with a charger that uses that old USB thing in forever and every cable I have in my bag is for this new type. It's fine at home but you get into a plane and now you are stuck throwing a hot dog down a hallway.

What shocks me is that there are still people out there who claim to not have made up their mind of Trump.. to this I ask "really? Either you find him a deplorable human with no morals or you see him as the second coming of Christ. There really is not middle ground"

It's interesting the Harris team want the mic's on as they know it will likely lead to Trump craziness but also will not change anybody's mind. Seeing the Trump stock collapse in real time is great. It was always overhyped and propped up with money from Moscow but now that Trump himself went back to Xwitter, it has made Truth Social that much less relevant.

Driving around in a Tesla is basically driving around in a. Big red hat at this point showcasing how incredibly dumb I am for falling for this guy. I read an article on Wait but Why years ago and was convinced that Musk had plans for our country and the world that were righteous, altruistic and true. As good as Day II was for the Democrats, Day III has been anything but exciting. Obama so wildly outperformed whatever big Bill as up to. I know with his vegan diet he is supposed to be doing really well but he hardly sounded lucid and mostly looked like a stiff fart would blow him over. My thought is this.   Walz is a very safe pick, gives the impression that there is an old white guy which the independent voter can feel comfortable with.   With that said, he seems to bring the same things as Kelly and I thought Kelly has a better story.    But they are afraid to lose the senate seat in Arizona.   I love Pete but I believe they are afraid to splinter off the religious older black vote.  They can't afford to lose a single one of that bloc.   Andy Beshour is a completing sorry but they aren't going to flip Kentucky anyway and they would definitely lose the statehouse.   Shapiro is a very energetic and compelling candidate but his stance on hard Israel is going away from what the party -and Kamala- wants.   

I haven't changed my mind entirely but the last 13 hours have been transformative.  Walz went from a guy I don't think I heard of a few weeks ago to a guy we now all want to have a beer with.    I'm a bit nervous that he's going to pigeonholed as a bit hokey and unserious but what I do like is that he continues to bring energy to the ticket.   He will bring a certain appearance of sensibility to the ticket although that is completely unfair to Kamala.  Anyway, I'm hoping for Pete in a bigger cabinet position, maybe State??   It protects two statehouses and a senate seat.   We can't afford to lose any of those.

TKd on the Supreme Court

I always believe there was value in the lifetime appointments for Supreme Court justices as it kept a level of independence over the judiciary but the more I think of it, the higher court so often doesn't reflect the morals of the people, that the system is antiquated and is in need of change. Biden's calls for a reformed Supreme Court seem completely reasonable in today's hyper politicized state and the idea of having nobody above the law, seems like something every citizen would recognize from their civics classes. Anyway Thomas is a corrupt, woman hating, sexual assaulting, Trump supporting pig. Screw him and his billionaire cronies.

Take on the Olympic compressed schedule

I'm all for athletes competing through adversity etc but what has shocked me for years is that the Olympics could easily make it easier for multiple event athletes to compete by spreading events out further. There is no reason that these swimmers competing in multiple events should be doing a 50 meter butterfly heat and then turning around and doing a 200 meter backstroke finals fifteen minutes later. The last week won't have any swimming, and the first week had no running. They have three weeks. They should use them and keep the athletes fresh.

Oh and don't make them swim in some nasty river.

There is some sweet justice in Kamala selling out an arena that a few days later Trump has trouble filling up halfway. His rallies are starting to look more and more like they should be held in a morgue. Nobody is coming out to his rallies as even his most ardent supporters are exhausted for having to work the mental gymnastics to convince themselves he's not a totally horrid human.

I'm a Pete guy but would be happy with Kelly or Shapiro or whoever but what I can them to grasp are these articles implying that the US isn't ready for a Jewish vice president or a gay one. When Kamala is the top of your ticket, you've already alienating the white supremacy wing of the GOP. Those are the same idiots that would not stand for Pete or Shapiro, I doubt they would make any difference at all. Let's stop pretending the VP carries any real weight when it comes to elections. I do think the right one is invaluable as a partner for Harris were she to win but the mentality that it would swing a voter is ludicrous to me.
