Years go, getting the new iPhone was the kind of thing that people stood hour in line for. There was a certain cache to having the latest model but now as I've gotten older, none of it matters anymore. What does matter is that they cost like $1200 and that they aren't getting monumentally better. So you pay a small fortune for a slight improvement and if it wasn't for the fact the batteries have all started to suck as part of their planned obsolescence, we'd all be fine to hold onto our phones for a decade.
