Trump is pushing to increase the pentagon budget by a cool half a trillion dollars. This is the kind of ludicrous thing we are up against now, a president who wants to blow a gigantic hole in the budget so he can play King George. I don't think this is going to work out that well but I'd love to hear the fiscal hawks defend this.
