Trump decided he didn't like Manhattan anymore, or more likely realized that Manhattan didn't like him anymore. What was either a move to evade taxes or to avoid having to show them, Trump is leaving the Empire State for the hell that is Florida. He will live down in Mar-a-Lago in between weekends releases from whatever white collar hellhole they throw him.
We can just hope they send him out to whatever gator sanctuary is nearby with just him waking with his little Winnie here as gator bait.

Today he tweeted a photo of him with the dog, it reminded me of the line in his speech on Sunday about how they captured him in the tunnel like a dog, which is an odd reference when we are congratulating dogs for their heroics in the operation.
Anyway; let's hope the dog does get a medal of freedoms or Trump gets put in a kennel.

What the hell is wrong with our president and his wife??? They gave out candy at Halloween by placing the candy on top of the head of some fat kid instead of in his bucket. It's hard to know if this was a joke or if they really didn't know better but either way it shows how tone-deaf they are as a couple.

John Kelly came out today to say that it pains him to see what has happened to the Trump administration since he's left implying that he was the glue keeping this s-show together. We don't know what it will become in the long run but Mulvaney has certa presided over a pretty turbulent period one which feels like one we are only just learning the details on.

At the end of the day, we know that there is nothing we can do but wait and even the threat of an end to the presidency doesn't seem to change Trump's behavior. If anything he seems to have gotten more brazen.

As an expert of the Butt Dial, I feel for Rudy. I've had a few instances where I've started to talk junk and got caught with my pants down but never as bad -or as incriminating- as Rudy with reporters. Trump's entire shadowy operation seems to leave so many loose ends but nothing could be sillier than the idea of Rudy brining the entire thing to its knees on the back of his gigantic ass making an ass of his gigantic assed boss.
But can you imagine that the most powerful man in the world has left it all in the hands of a guy who routinely butt dials reporters.

Tim Ryan dropped out of the presidential race earlier today and honestly I have no idea if he was a Democrat or a Republican. thus is the problem when there are fifty democratic 'contenders' because and the only ones that stand out are the ones that aren't 50, white and boring.
I can't wait for this primary season to be over. I'm ready to go to a battle royal and hopefully we are left with Mayor Pete, Warren and Kamala, the rest of them need to just go away.

Trump continues to try to justify bringing the G-7 meeting to Trump Doral and is now trying to claim he'd do it at no cost which is bull crap since he charges US Tax payers $6 for a Dasani and $18.50 for a Jack and Coke at Mar-a-Lago whenever he's staying there.
As much as he's trying to convince us otherwise, his crappy hotel is far from ideal for the main reason that he owns it.

Jesus, during the ribbon cutting ceremony for some random Louis Vuitton thing, Trump looked like he ate a container of handbags. As he's gotten further embroiled in his political mess, he's also gotten fatter and he has to be tipping the scales at 265 pounds. Melania doesn't seem to look at him often and likely hasn't seen him named in years but there have to be a dozen high end DC call girls who have seen Moby small Dick and there eyes are scarred forever.

Trump chose his fleabag hotel to hold the G7 summit next year which will make for quite a scene when he is no longer president and he has to welcome President Pelosi to his resort. We know he doesn't care about optics anymore and is now at the stage of his presidency when he knows his supporters won't leave him because he's done everything aside from shooting somebody on 5th Avenue so far.
But this blatant disregard for the emolument clause is shocking even for him. Let's just hope when he's removed next year, they can move it to the Ritz or something

The letter Trump sent Erdogan will go down in history as one of the biggest jokes of any administration and the fact that somebody in the White House allowed this to be sent out shows how little control anybody has over this psychopath.

It does make me wonder considering the letter published last year that if this is allowed to be sent to a world leader, what doesn't get through? There must be things that senior staff can file away hoping he forgets or things somebody is able to talk him out of it which might be thousand times worse than this.

I don't have cable so can't watch the Democratic debate but thanks to Twitter, I can follow along.

What I can tell so far is that Mayor Pete is having a good night, Biden is lost, Elizabeth Warren wants us to pull out of the Middle East entirely, Tulsi will remove her mask at some point revealing she's Lara Trump, Beto loves his AR15 argument but can't do much else, Booker wants everybody to hug, Bernie is old and crazy and there is some random guy there wearing a plaid tie

Tom Steyer is a billionaire who looks like a cross between Bert and a cactus and is polling at like 0.00001% but somehow he's on the debate stage fighting for equality or climate change or something

But really we want to know how he got past security.

Liz Cheney is a different level awful when comparing her to the likes of Megan McCain and Hunter Biden. She is an unlikeable mule whose entire existence is the greatest argument against nepotism this side of Trump Inc. Her father is a maniacal war criminal and yet she somehow is able to stand out a for her own awfulness, which I guess can be commemorated.

She's now blaming the Turkish slaughtering of the Kurds in the Democratic party impeaching Trump proving once again that the party of personal responsibility is actually the the one of passing the buck.

I watched the video shown at a Pro Trump event showing Trump walking into a church and shooting it up like he is Dylan Roof. Not only is this one of the most despicable videos I've seen, the fact that it's shown at an event featuring little Don and Big Huck makes it grotesquely so. The chances of Trump retweeting this has to be somewhere around 70%, right?
God he's a despicable human.

The scoop of the day will be that Gordon Sondland will now testify that he isn't sure there was no quid pro quo only that he is certain that Trump said it. The timing and tone of the entire text message exchange has always been a bit odd. It went from a free wheeling spaghetti sauce mess of "diplomacy" to Sondland going 180 and writing our testimony he knew would be used in a court of law at some point. We know now that the change of tone happened right after he spoke to Trump and I wonder if this guy is much of a Trump loyalist. I think he's just a rich donor who'd like to get his ego stroked and his wiener waxed, both of which he got but the idea of him having to clench his butt cheeks every time he drops the soap scared him to the point he now remembers things a lot differently.

Oh well, he also has a face that looks like a Halloween mask of a giant scrotum.

Shep Smith walking out of FoxNews is one of the worst things that could have happened. Smith was one of the only sensible voices broadcast on the station and we always had a hope that he might be able to reach some of the typical non-sycophant viewers and keep some level of balance and fairness

But it was not meant to be, his abrupt a departure leaves a giant void there with only Chris Wallace asked to fill it

Rudy made a career out of prosecuting bad guys and mobsters bur lately he's acting a lot more like the defendants than the prosecutors in the case. Maybe Trump has some compromising photos of the Mayor, maybe he's never been that good of a guy or maybe he's been flipped by a bunch of Ukrainian henchmen but one thing is for sure. The days that Rudy walks free are numbered, they may not get him on everything but he's at that point where he's rehiring one criminal act after another at the all and something ha got to start sticking

In a few decades when the Kurds attack the US we will look at them as some kind of backwards group of extremist with an unnatural hatred for American life, somebody should point back to October 2019 when we abandoned them to be slaughtered by the Turks. Of course we'll write it off as that crazy Trump period and the amount of people who will own up to having support him will likely be less than one in a hundred people but the Kurds won't care for today will live in infamy as the day we left them to die. This week news came out to Bernie Sanders had suffered a heart attack which prompted many comparisons to Hillary's pneumonia three years ago which helped sink her candidacy.
What is more disturbing to me is that the first video I've seen of Bernie post ticker stopping, is one where he looks like Grimace. There is this weird purple aura around him which somehow makes him look for psychotic than usual
If Bernie has any lobs for his country or desire to see Trump defeated he'd drop out today, throw his full support behind Warren and clear the deck quickly

Claire McCaskill asked Lindsey Graham what happened to his character and why  he would repeat a lie and then lie again.  

There is one answer to this and it's pretty simple

Lindsey is a lap dog who needs a master.   His original one was a patriot and the epitome of A selfless, hard working, well intentioned American.  But Lindsey's present one is the antithesis of patriotic, hard working, decent and well intentioned.   

Lindsey isn't idealistic, he isn't concerned about standing for anything, he is only concerned that he is  serving his master and in that respect he's doing a great job

Take on Rick Perry

I have to say that we've expected to hear a lot more out of Rick Perry than we have. He got those Homer Simpson glasses which do make him look a little smarter but i expected him to be a bit more newsworthy.
The this week happened. First it comes out that he's resigning, which is a meh moment except for the fact that Trump will replace him with an even worse person. Then Trump dumps him under the bus saying that Perry was the one who pushed for the phone call now at the center of the Impeachment inquiry.

I just hope he just goes away..in handcuffs

Trump hates Mitt, Mitt thinks Trump is not as nice as he should be. Trump shows up to a gun fight fully armed, Mitt shows up with a thank you card. Trump calls Mitt an ass, Mitt says that we should be kinder to each other.
Mitt has a chance to be the voice of truth to be the one who brings the GOP out of the darkness, somebody who leads the establishment to the light.
But this is the president we have and I'd love to see Mitt show a sack. If not him, then who?!?

If Bernie cares about his message and a bout actually getting something changed, he'd see this heart attack as a sign and step aside. His supporters would immediately rush to Elizabeth Warren making her the front runner putting Biden on his heels. This would hopefully lead to a conversation from the head of the party (Obama) to ask him to step aside and would clear the deck leaving Warren, Harris and Mayor Pete. The Democratic Party needs to be the one of intelligence and smarts and not the one of celebrity and nothing would help get the right people onto that debate stage than Bernie doing what is best for the Democratic Party and stepping down

But we know Bernie has now interest in doing anything to benefit the Democratic Party, he's only interested in Bernie, so he won't do what is right for the democrats and right for the country and instead he'll try to come back from this to muddle along further only muddying the water
