I wish anybody looked at me the way Trump looks at Mamdani. I watched part of their joint press conference and to say Trump was smitten would be an understatement. I have seen him sort of grovel to autocratic leaders before but this was different. This was him genuinely wanting to get his attention and it wasn't quite working.
