Take on the end of the Korean War

Trump may get credit, or at least demand it but today's announcement finally ending the Korean conflict was certainly historic and he is the president on record during it. I don't think he had that much to do with it as calling Kim Jong Un a Little Rocket Man probably wasn't the straw that broke the camel's back but this may very well go down as his Nixon goes to China moment.
What is almost definitely the cause in the breakthrough is that North Korea had a nuclear site collapse in September after their massive test and everybody knows it. With his nuclear ambitions neutered and a potential Chernobyl situation brewing, Kim had to come to the table and Moon allowed for a graceful out to his counterpart. Why else would they make a 180 in the last few months after being sworn enemies for six decades. It certainly isn't for the haircuts or kimchee they can get there
But I'm happy that this could be a dark chapter which might finally come to an end even if Donald Trump gets more credit they be probably deserves.
