I was at a federal courthouse the other day and these dudes know how to roll. In know there are tons of people into it but I don't really get the Ryder Cup. I mean I get what it is but I have never found myself wanting to spend a weekend watching this thing. This year specially, when they are all getting paid by the Saudis and all praising Trump, it just doesn't feel very American.

Whenever I see Lee Zeldin I wonder how something that sounds so close to greatness can be such utter crap. There may not be a more dangerous man in the administration than Zeldin whose policies won't just affect our country but a world which is spiraling quickly. One driven into NYC three of the last four weekends and the fact that it now costs nearly $25 to cross the bridge, $9 to get into midtown and $30 to park has made the entire trip ridiculous. I get the idea of congestion pricing but you've basically made it so I'm not willing to spend $65 to just get into the city. I'll spend my $150 for dinner elsewhere

When NYC does something right, there is so much bureaucracy in the way. They are trying to keep the rats away and they finally got these big garbage cans but instead of putting them out yesterdays, they now need 7 years for them to be rolled out. In seven years I might be dead.

It all feels like we are at the early part of a major recession. Between the bad job numbers, the cropping credit score, the cracks I the housing market, in inevitable crypto crash, the massive tax cuta on the back of the public, the tariff level inflation, the fact Trump is trying to push public companies to only report earnings every six months, the overall sourness about our economic standing and the dropping dollar, if all feels like we are really in a bad place. The easiest prediction is that when it does happen, Trump will find a way to blame Biden or Hillary or Obama or the Easter Bunny when we get a major course correction.

The only thing he has done is buy other companies with very established technology which he brings under his Metasphere but when he tried to go after a nascent technology or out of the box concept, he usually falls on his goofy face. Sounds like Trump's is going after Kristi Noem of whoever runs ICE for that raid of that Hyundai plan. We know that was always an idiotic idea, plus illegal, but what bothered me before this is how Trump will not just give Ike positive feedback, he is looking to turn that Korea Air flight around and drop them off. This will only make the MAGA nuts even more nuts and watching them all melt down six going to be glorious.

I love a good pizza, whether it's NY style, deep dish, Elios or brick oven but I will never understand why somebody would put a salad on the top of a pizza. So the Charlie Kirk killer wasn't trans, he wasn't gay, he wasn't liberal, he wasn't leftist, he wasn't an Islamic jihadist, he was a communist and he wasn't black or brown. The GOP has been trying to convince us for the last two days that this is some conspiracy from the democrats to start a civil war when in fact they got flanked to their right. After the Charlie Kirk assassination, everybody wondered who did it.  It sounded like some crazy marksman at first although arm chair twitter hunters claim it's pretty doable which doesn't actually make me feel any better.  

Then there was the motive issue which was all about trans rights which is the loudest dog whistle you can think of for these nuts.

Take on health care increases

I cannot quite get over how our absolutely broken our health care system is. Reports show we are looking at another 15%increase which comes on the back of years of high digit increases while they cut back services, providers and coverage. I can't tell exactly what we should be looking at but the fact that we are the only country who sees health care as a money making scheme is sickening

Take on the Yankees

You couldn't pay me to sit through a Major League Baseball game or even watch it on TV but add this tribute and the fact they will have the 🍊 king tomorrow and what was already unwatchable becomes the equivalent of a three burritos dump. I have no interest in this organization eulogizing a divisive political figure as if he's a modern MLK or for a presidential lunatic being part of a single 9/11 event and would wish this team all the success of the Mets

I loved Howard when I was I was in High School and college. Nobody has ever been a better out interviewer and nothing was more fun than listing for hours. I haven't ever listed to his Sirius show but can only imagine it's gotten lame and this latest attempt ruin grab is more of the same. I'm no convinced it was a big hoax and instead think he changed his mind when he thought he would completely fade outside of the public consciousness. Anyway, we hope he and Gary and Robin are all doing well.

Take on the Cheesecake Factory

I haven't been to a Cheesecake Factory in three decades but was sort of stuck there this weekend. I have nothing against a chain restaurant, finding them mostly unspectacularly solid.

I wouldn't know what to order but figured Cheesecake Factory as a pasta place to me. It's hard to mess up pasta and they featured some some kind of Cajun shrimp and chicken dish they claimed was very spicy Not only was it not spicy, it lacked any kind of spice I'm ok with lame bland food but this was their signature dish and it felt like sucking soup through a diaper.

Even when Trump tried to put his thumb on the scale, he couldn't get the job report numbers he was hoping for. We don't know what he's going to do in the long run but if these reports don't start to improve quickly, he's going to fire everybody in the labor department and install Eric Trump. Republicans starter their summer break early with the hope of the Epstein files blowing over during their absence but as luck would have it, nobody forgot. We know there will be a number of people we thought we respected in the files but what I'm confused about is why I would care if Bill Gates or Bill Clinton was in them. I don't and if they are they should be exposed because I'm not a sycophant.

When I saw videos of somebody throwing trash bags out of a window at the White House, I thought immediately they were dumping dirty diapers or rotting skin. Trump claimed it was AI generated which was odd since his own press office already admitted they were real. But this is the world we live in, Trump can say anything and we buy it. Nobody has shares more AI generated crap than he has.
