You've served your country valiantly, you've debited your life to public service, you've held the highest job in the land and excelled at it. But for the love of everything you stand for, for all that defines you and for everything that we all know and love..step aside and let Kamala or Pete or Gretchen or Gavin take their shot. The country can't afford another Trump, we can't afford to lose another seat on the Supreme Court, we can't afford the damage on the international stage. We need to win this election and that job is one you may not be able to convince the country that you can still do.
