Take on white supremacy in the GOP

I can't believe that one of the leaders of one of the two major political parties has to come out and condemn white supremacy and reiterate that it has no place in his party.    This is because two of his more vocal members decided that speaking at a white supremacy rally sounded like a good use of time.  Obviously we are not that surprised but we are ar a place where this version of conservatism is becoming more mainstream.

Take on the Monday after

The Ukrainian people have fought tooth and nail and so far have been able to mostly rebuff the Russian invasion. Their valor, their bravery, their willingness to fight for their country has been awe inspiring and although the news reports are generally positive, they haven't been left unscathed and I'm afraid the real fight is yet to come. Russia's army hasn't seemed as impressive as advertised but we have a long way to go and tomorrow there will apparently be some talks. What Ukrainians will be willing to concede is interesting but what Putin will concede is really what we are all watching. I'm guessing the entire thing will hinge on Ukrainian promising to not continue their application for NATO membership in exchange for retaining all their lands. I'm not sure who comes out looking like the winner there but Putin can easily spin that in his own favor. It also seems like Mother Russia will have paid no price for this conflict other than some temporary financial pains. We need more than that.

Take on the Trump dump

We forget that the 2016 Republican convention had their official position on Ukraine weakened right before the convention after a mysterious meeting at the Mayflower hotel. We forget that the president that Trump tried to strong arm with a perfect phone call into giving up fake dirty of Hunter Biden is the same guy who is now standing shoulder to shoulder with his countrymen defending their homeland. We forget that Trump had meetings with Putin when nobody other than Putin's translator were present. We forget that baby Trump bragged about the amount of money the Trump organization was seeing from Russia. We know now exactly what the reason Russia wanted to influence the 2016 election was.

We forget because it all seemed so absurd. But putting it all together and seeing how it played out, I think it's pretty obvious who betrayed this country and its allies

Take on the PornHub Russian outage

I can't think of any sensible person who wouldn't like to avoid an active hot war with Russia knowing the casualties will be incredible. The Biden administration, in its attempt for just that, has taken actions that are basically sanctions with them possibly eliminating SWIFT payments which would slow the Russian banking system down tremendously. But with the advent of crypto and competitors to SWIFT already on the market, this alone may not be enough to force Putin to back down. His country has gone through long cold winters before, his citizens are hardened and because it's a country which does not allow dissidents, it's one that doesn't cave easily.

But the west has a secret weapon, apparently those long cold winters are going to get longer and colder because Russians haven't been able to access PornHub which is akin to taking away their vodka. I can't tell you when this entire thing ends but it will when the story is told it will undoubtedly be toppled by the PornHub thing.

Then again, maybe it's actually Putin doing this, we all know that 95% of the content comes right out of the old Soviet states and he's just waiting for the American masses to start protesting to bring back the RedArmy's almost endless ability to produce bad porn.

Take on day one of the conflict

Who knows what a typical Russian on the streets of St Petersburg thinks of this invasion but I can't believe any rational Russian could come up with a single justifiable reason to bomb Ukraine. Of course the propaganda is powerful as we have seen at home plenty but I don't see a real rational that Russians will falls behind when their young men are coming back in bodybags. Then again we voted for Trump, so we know about how easily people are manipulated.

Take on Vladdy Putin

Vladdy has decided to go full monte and invade Ukrainian for absolutely no good reason and of course the Tucker crowd is cheating on Putin with all their might
This is the problem, we can't expect Putin to act rationally because he's never done anything rational and this just seems like the next step which if ignored will move them even closer to an all our wester attack

To nobody's surprise, Trump is siding with Putin over the USA, even calling his moves very savvy. The weird thing is that when Trump does something like this, he universally applauded by the GOP but if Biden so much as looks at a world leader, the GOP will call him weak and in the bag for said leader

I'm to the point where I know there is nobody left on that side with an ounce of morals. It's all a big money making enterprise at this point

Take on the GOP President’s Day tweet

The official GOP Twitter account decided to throw shade at Biden with their Happy President's day tweet which was the biggest self own out there. Not only did they have the deranged orange lunatic as part of their Brady Bunch sequence, they also decided that adding Nixon was a swell idea.

Of course they did get to tell Biden that he shouldn't have a good president's day which I'm sure weighs heavy on the commander in chief as he tries to avoid a conflict in Ukraine.

Take on the Winter Olympics and the frozen penis.

I have to say this was probably the Olympics I was least intrigued with. I'm not sure if it lacked intriguing American athletes, the time difference was too much or that we needed a break after the summer Olympics but it just didn't captivate me.
It also doesn't help that every single time I turned it on, I got curling.

But you have to give these winter athletes credit, the summer ones are incredible but they don't seem to put their bodies on the line quite the same way The roller derby ice skating thing is nuts, the luge is crazy and the skeleton is just a kamikaze mission but who knew the event I'd be most frightening to do would be the 50k skiing thing. It's not just that 50k on cross country skiing part sounds awful, but the fact some poor Finnish schlep froze his penis during the ride makes me think that there is no sport which ask more from their athletes than this thing

On top of everything, he finished 28th. So he got no glory, no medal and only has a frozen winkie to show off in the Olympic village

Some huge cargo ship caught fire and the crew got the heck off of the burning inferno. By maritime law this now means the ship could be had by anybody and since it's filled with luxury cars, a bunch of goombas immediately rented speedboats and headed to the middle of the Atlantic Ocean. I'm not sure exactly how they'll get the cars off this cargo ship or how they will put out the fire but it's fair game and I guess I'm all for it

This might be my Get off my Lawn moment but looking at the list of who's playing the the NBA celebrity game, I can honestly say that I have not heard of like 75% of them. I'm not sure who they are, what they do or why they are famous other than Myles Garrett and the guy who drank the blood of that hot chick.
Anyway, good luck, hope nobody pulls a nut.

The wacky MyPillow guy wants to drop a bunch of pillows from a helicopter for those jackasses who are parked in their trucks preventing commerce from occurring. The beauty is that the MyPillow guy was planning on trucking them up but his driver wasn't vaccinated so was turned away. Anyway, now he plans to drop them from 10,000 feet up. I'm sure problem will be thrilled when they get a concussion

Eric is the dumbest Trump, everybody is aware of that but somehow they keep trodding in out to stick his big foot in his big mouth. Today he went on to explain that vaccines are stripping freedom from this country. This is an interesting perspective when you think that operation warp speed is one of the things team Trump touts as one it's biggest accomplishments.

But then again, nobody ever accused Eric of being all that bright

Take on the Don Jr thing.

There are these weird Don Jr vlogs where he complains about the mean media who are out to get him and smear the good Trump name. I can't understand who would watch this to get real information as he looks higher than a kite on the entire segment

But there are a few observations

- he has a folded flag on his bookshelf but we all know that there was never been a Trump who has ever served his country. We know it isn't only for servicemen and women but it sort of is just for fallen servicemen and women.

- he has this weird dildo thing on the shelf below it. Can't figure out if it's a bong or a sex toy

- he does the entire thing with his eyes closed. Sort of impressive if he wasn't drugged up

The Don Jr logo looks like the exact color and font a "we buy gold" ad would have



At some point he'll go to rehab and the. We will be made to feel bad for making fun of somebody fighting addiction and he'll wind up getting sympathy. Just won't be from me

Take on the GOP’s master plan to probe Hillary.

If the House flips red in November, the GOP is planning on a big probe on…Hillary. I have absolutely no idea what their obsession is with her l but it's stalker level. This November will makesix years from when we last saw her as anything other than a private citizen. She has not indicated she will ever run against, she's stayed out of the spotlight and she's basically not all that exciting for anybody except for Ted Cruz and Matt Gaetz and their ilk

Anyway, many they should focus on actually getting things done instead of living in a constant feedback loop.

Charlie Kirk seems like the kind of guy you see ar a party and the w second he came up to you, you'd pretend you got a phone call. I'm not sure what he does actually. Does this guy have a job or a tv show or anything or does he just make appearances looking like he just had his five hole greased up.

Take on the pillow guy

Mike Lindell looks like he smells like a pound of American cheese which has sat out in the sun for an hour. He's a weird looking dude from every measure but the fact that his entire persona is to be Trump's bidet, makes that mustache that much odder. He's now offering those Canadian truckers a free pillow which would be nice if they could get a delivery of them

When a Russian athlete is accused of doping, they don't get the benefit of the doubt. We've seen the entire country skirt the rules for years and they are competing under the ROC banner specially because of their years of infractions but what is most criminal about this case is that they've shot up a child. If some 26 year old runner is doping, he's had a say in it but a 15 year old??

Time to ban the entire country from the Olympics next time around.

Take on the flusher in chief

Maggie Haberman'w latest scoop is a doozy. She's reporting in her new book that Trump was flushing papers down the toilet which were being discovered by some poor maintenance man who was probably trying to snake out the toilets and finding classified info along with half digested BigMac's. This is coming on the heels of other reports that Trump would sometimes eat reports which I guess would also end up flushing down a toilet at some point assuming he was at all civilized and dint just crap in a corner like an untrained poodle.

But this all seems to be taken just as a punchline all while the GOP railed against Hillary for "her emails" and the NYT in their lame attempt at "fair coverage"
decided to give Hillary's infraction constant front page headlines. At some point we have to realize that sharing both sides of a debate should not be confused with giving oxygen to crazy conspiracy theories.

Take on the gazpacho police

No one has every accused MTG of being all that bright but when does something stupid..wow 

Today she had another MtG moment where she warned her followers that Nancy Pelosi was sending the gazpacho police after her which is laughable on so many levels.   But the thing with MTG is that she won't be able to laugh at herself for misspeaking, she will see her own ignorance as another fund raising effort which she will claim is needed to protect her from "the main stream media's vile attacks" on her.

Take on the bad enchilada

Kevin McCarthy was asked today about the RNC's resolution describing January 6th as "legitimate political discourse" and like most things that McCarthy does, he cowered in the face of opposition. In this case he didn't so much as engage the reporter, instead sprinting down the hallway like he had just eaten a bad enchilada.
The fact that the Big Lie is still something that legitimate elected officials support is beyond me but to call January 6th an innocent visit to the Capitol is… well ..rich.

I didn't quite have Andrew Yang defending Joe Rohan for being a racist bigot on my bingo card but here you have it. As we've said before, Rohan has become the new Howard Stern, hated by everybody but immensely popular. Hai style, for right or for wrong, is protected under the constitution. I'm of the opinion that we let our wallets do the talking, it enough people walk away from Spotify because they find him to be a disgusting pig, that's fine. He's a horrible human who offers little to the social discourse but as long as Spotify feels compelled to pay him, go nuts

James Comey decided today was a good day to editorialize about how Biden should pardon Trump. I can't imagine a good reason to go there because unlike Nixon, a pardon wouldn't diminish Trump's appeal or slow him down in his pursuit of the Oval Office. If you think you can dangle it in front of him to have him behave, you haven't learned a thing from the last five years. Trump wants to regain power and when he does he will burn all of our institutions to the ground

If a trump can't be president, he seems to be content being the DJ at your kids Bat Mitzvah. I can't imagine somebody I'd less want to have spinning the ones and twos but somehow somebody convinced Trump that he should be hosting a rager at Mar-a-Lago this weekend. Mike Pence has always been a calculated old fool. He hitched his wagon to the Trump train when it was politically expedient and is trying to get off with the hope of keeping the stink off of him. But like being in the vicinity of a skunk, keeping that stench off will be impossible. Obviously no progressive would ever vote for him but I'd think even moderates would have a hard time with the Trump stink still vibrant Trump's core supporters are going to hate him for what they will see as him backstabbing dead leader Religious leaning conservatives may buy into him but if they were honest there cannot be a single true Christian - whose you'd think would be his main base- would see the moral sacrifices he's made by lapping you the sweat off of Trump's scrotum as anything other than despicable behavior.

QAnon is hitting a new low..or high when it's crazy members threatened a butterfly sanctuary over some weird theory that the butterfly people were harboring illegal immigrants who were involved in sex trafficking. That's the thing about QAnon, all of their theories seems to revolve around sex trafficking of child pornography..it's almost an obsession which always turns out to be baseless.

Makes you wonder if they are just projecting.

The Washington Football Club decided to rebrand again and in typical Daniel Snyder style they went for he lamest name possible. There were a thousand good names with the RedTails being the best one with the Armada being a close second and the Red Hogs a fan favorite these dorks decided to brand themselves as an arena football team because it's almost always the tail wagging the dog.

We've long know they NFL to be a complete corrupt bag of piling dog crap whose loyalties lie in the all mighty dollar as the men who paved the way go brain dead. It's also no wonder that they needed to institute a rule to try to give the appearance like minority coaches were getting a fair shake but anybody who saw that Denny Green was getting ten interviews per off season knew it was nothing but a sham. I believe that teams would call Denny, offer him like $10k to interview so they could comply and then move on. Nobody had any interest in hiring him and he was probably too fat and too old to want to work.
