Having named two girls in the last three years, I can attest to the difficulty in naming somebody as you are potentially saddling them with it for the rest of their lives. I don't quite understand the new urban names (la-dash-na spelled la-na or Moët), I hate the tradition of Hispanics to name their boys the same name as the father and I hate how white-folks often go super boring. But the thing that really irritates me is when people get lazy and give their kid a first name which is just a variation of their last name
